With summer in full swing, South Eveleigh is proudly partnering with Skin Check Champions to help improve access and awareness for the early detection of skin cancer.
The initiative offers those who live and work in the area the opportunity to have an educational, full-body skin check with a qualified nurse dermoscopist.
Skin cancer is known as our ‘national cancer’ and is likely to affect 2 in 3 Australians in their lifetime. It’s a harsh reality we all have to be aware of but in 98% of cases, skin cancer can be successfully treated if detected early, which is exactly what this partnership is all about. The event will take place from the 5 – 9 February from 9am – 5pm at the Skin Champions Pop-Up Location in WorkClub Locomotive (Locomotive Bays 5-7, 2 Locomotive Street, Eveleigh 2015). Each booking costs $30 which will go towards skin checks in high risk communities / people who don’t normally have access. We appreciate your support!
