FREE FULL BODY SKIN CHECKS FOR PEOPLE OF COOBER PEDY & SURROUNDS

 

This initiative is proudly supported by SA Health thanks to our partners at the Rosemary Bryant Research Centre from the University of South Australia. Building on the vital work of Project Check Mate.

It aims to help provide educational skin checks to remote / regional communities in South Australia who are at greater risk of skin cancer and often lack access to services. The program also works with local nurses to train them in conducting skin checks thanks to our partners at Skin Smart Australia. Improving the healthcare capacity of our regions which means locals can access nurse-led skin checks long after our pop-up clinics.

(i) a local or from another regional area of South Australia,
(ii) haven’t had a skin check for quite some time, and
(iii) may have something of concern…

If you’re from a metropolitan area and get checked regularly we’d still love you to visit our clinic but we’d like to leave our online booking system for locals and people who may be more at risk. Please feel free to forward this page to someone you might know who could do with a skin check, especially if their work or pursuits require them to spend a lot of time in the sun.
